How to Create a Wi-Fi QR Code

Gather network details

You need the Wi-Fi network name, security type and password. Enter them exactly, including capitalization.

Generate the Wi-Fi code

Choose Wi-Fi in the generator and enter the network details. The resulting QR encodes the connection information.

Protect sensitive access

Only display a guest-network QR where appropriate. Avoid exposing a private internal network password publicly.

Test on multiple devices

Scan with both iPhone and Android devices before printing or mounting the code.
